Peninsula Tokyo

When I got the email confirming my press stay at the @thepeninsulatokyo, I was so excited as I’ve heard their hotels are truly incredible.

I’ll cut to the chase, it was next level. Naturally it had the signature Japanese service we all expect but let me just lay out some of my favourite things about it:

* the food was just SO good. Every meal was perfect and I genuinely miss eating there.

* The bedrooms have the coolest details like, a little built in fan in the wall, made specifically to dry your nails, buttons in the bathrooms that set different moods that control the lighting & music & they even had these cute little cupboards that you can access from the inside & outside of your room, so parcels, food etc can be delivered there without ease & in case you can’t come to the door. These little things make a difference and I’ve never seen a hotel have so many quirky but fun details that enhance the guest experience.

* the hotel had multiple restaurants and I was so sad that I didn’t get to try all of them but the few I did were incredible.

* the facilities were vast and you could honestly spend all your time just within their walls but obvs I couldn’t as I was in Tokyo but dang I wanna go back to really make the most of the hotel.

From a price perspective rooms start from around £800 a night, so it’s not a cheap option by any means but between their restaurants and various outlets, if a stay isn’t an option there are so many other ways for you to be a part of their truly special hospitality and location.
